Kevin joined the City of Eden in 2003 after working 13 years with NC DOT and a short time with Soil & Material Engineers out of Greensboro. He is a graduate of Morehead High School and came with extensive knowledge of roadway construction inspection experience. Kevin also brought with him certifications in asphalt, concrete, and soil density. He completed the North Carolina Roads Scholar program through NC State University after coming on board with the City of Eden and is a certified North Carolina Roads Scholar. The program included training in roadway maintenance, stormwater drainage, soil fundamentals, asphalt pavement maintenance, and construction.
Kevin is married to Elizabeth Graham London and has four children from a previous marriage and two step-children. Having lost two of his daughters in a tragic car accident in 2012, he is a MADD advocate and supports the fight to end drunk and drugged driving. Kevin is also a member of Osborne Baptist Church and finds serving in the Grief Share ministry and praise band very rewarding.
