INVITATION TO BID: PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION
The City of Eden is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the purchase and installation of new playground equipment and related site improvements for the City’s Community Development Block Grant programs.
The project includes, but is not limited to:
- Furnishing and installing commercial‑grade playground structures
- Providing safety surfacing compliant with current standards
- Site preparation, grading, and any required drainage adjustments (if applicable)
- Installation of borders, ramps, and accessible pathways
- All labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for complete and functional installation
Bid packages are available upon request and at no cost by emailing bids@consultinsight.com.
Completed bids must be sealed and submitted no later than 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 18th, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter at the Eden City Hall Planning Conference Room, 308 E Stadium Drive, Eden NC 27288.
Sealed bids must be clearly marked “Playground Equipment – Bid” and delivered to:

There is no Pre-Bid Contractor Meeting scheduled for this project.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
The City of Eden reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the project.
