NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDS
DRAPER ELEMENTARY EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed bids are invited for:
Draper Elementary Exterior Improvements: replacement of all exterior windows and doors on existing Draper Elementary at 114 N. Bethel Street in Eden, North Carolina as described in the Contract Documents.

The bids will be received at 308 E. Stadium Drive, Eden, North Carolina by 2:00 P.M., March 3, 2026.  This is an extension to the previous due date of February 24.  Any late bids will be returned unopened.

Bid Bond required if the bid exceeds $300,000. A Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond are required in the amount of 100% of the contract price if the bid exceeds $300,000.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on February 17, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. EST at 308 E. Stadium Drive, Eden, North Carolina 27288.  

Site visits may be arranged by contacting Eden Planning & Community Development’s office.

Electronic copies of bid documents may be obtained online by contacting jcahill@solexarchitecture.com  and/or visiting the City’s website.  Bidders are responsible for printing documents, or Solex Architecture can provide a printed set for a $250 non-refundable fee, plus shipping. 

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids.
