The century old farm was purchased in 2000. One hundred years ago the primary usage of the farm was hay, cattle, and tobacco.
The current owners worked to preserve the natural landscape and continue to produce crops from the fertile soils.
After two years of extensive research, they concluded that grapes would be a suitable crop for our geographic location and lush soils.
Their love of good wines only confirmed that wine grapes should be the crop for the farm.
The first planting was April 24, 2001 with the hope of many years of bountiful harvest and great wines!
