Chairman Mike Quickel
Mike was employed as a colorist for Karastan Rug Mill before retirement. Currently, he is co-owner of Johnson’s Florist and Antiques in the Historic Leaksville Shopping District.
Secretary Tom Barbour
Tom owns Barbour Studio and Gallery on Washington Street and was a founding board member of the Eden Downtown Development Corporation. His wife Maryann runs the hand-crafted jewelry business, Beadful Things, in the same building.
Treasurer Angela Fowler
Angela is the president of the Eden Chamber of Commerce and serves on numerous boards in North Carolina and Virginia. She is also an active member with performing arts.
Board Member Phil Hunnicutt
Phil is a retired director of Corporate Real Estate with VF Corporation. He has served on numerous County & City economic development boards, including the Rockingham County Economic Development Commission, where he was past vice-chairman; the Rockingham County "Committee of 100" (now Citizens Economic Development Inc.), where he was past chairman; and the City of Eden's original economic development board, aka "The Apple Committee." Mr. Hunnicutt is the appointed Eden City Council representative on the board.
Board Member Rhonda Price
Rhonda is co-owner of David Price Auto and Dave’s Towing on Monroe Street. She is president of the Leaksville Merchant Association and active in community volunteerism.
Board Member Debbie Ellis
Debbie has served as chair of the Eden Chamber of Commerce, currently serves on the Western Rockingham Chamber board, and is an ambassador for the Reidsville Chamber Board. She is a member of the State Employees Advisory Board, RCC Foundation Board, and Eden Community Appearance Commission. Debbie is a tireless worker at Eden Chamber of Commerce events, RiverFest and Oink & Ale.
Board Member Faye Shelton
Faye is owner of Five Star Realty on Washington Street. She has been a realtor since 2005. She spent 27 years working for Rockingham County in the Appraisal and Tax department and retired as director of Planning and Zoning.
Board Member Tim Lancaster
Tim is a retired City of Eden employee. He is the coordinator of the Eden Cruise-in and Car Show that both take place in downtown Draper. Tim is also a member of the Draper Merchant Association.
Board Member Glenn Denny
Mr. Denny is a musician and business owner. He runs a recording studio in the Historic Leaksville Shopping District and is also a member of the Eden Minoirity Business Association.
Board Member Adam Mark
A native of Eden, Adam has a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.P.A. in Urban Affairs and Planning from the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently a captain and serves as the HHC Company Commander in the 463rd Engineer Battalion in the U.S. Army Reserve. Before moving back to Rockingham County, Adam held positions with the South Park Pennsylvania Township, Center for Metropolitan Studies in Pittsburgh, PA, and the planning department for the City of Pittsburgh, PA. He now is employed by the county economic development department in the role of Small Business Manager.
Board Member Ashley Latham
Ashley is a native of Eden. In 2014 she moved her photography studio into an upstairs downtown building. She later bought three adjoining buildings that were recently purchased after standing empty more than ten years. She took the renovations to the next level, adding spacious offices, a large shooting area, a client viewing room, framing room, kitchen, and even a fully equipped salon. She is an active member of Professional Photographers of North Carolina and Professional Photographers of America
Board Member Barry Carter
Barry is the owner of the Old Leaksville Gun Shop. He is retired from the Eden Police department and is an active member of the Leaksville Municipal Service District board of directors.
Board Member Cindy Adams
Cindy has been the Coordinator of Special Events and Tourism since the position was established in 2008. She spent more than 18 years with the Eden Chamber of Commerce as administrative assistant and president. She was responsible for RiverFest becoming a Top 20 event in the southeastern U.S. for September of 2011 by the Southeastern Tourism Society.
Executive Director Randy Hunt
Randy is Eden’s Main Street Manager and the former executive director of the Eden Chamber of Commerce. He is past president of Eden Rotary, president of the Fine Arts Festival of Rockingham County, and vice president of Rockingham County United Way.
