Chairman Glenn Denny
Mr. Denny is a musician and business owner. He runs a recording studio in the Historic Leaksville Shopping District and is also a member of the Eden Minority Business Association.
Board member Mike Quickel
Mike was employed as a colorist for Karastan Rug Mill before retirement. Currently, he is co-owner of Johnson’s Florist and Antiques in the Historic Leaksville Shopping District.
Secretary Tom Barbour
Tom owns Barbour Studio and Gallery on Washington Street and was a founding Board member of the Eden Downtown Development Corporation. His wife Maryann runs the hand-crafted jewelry business called Beadful Things in the same building.
Treasurer Angela Fowler
Angela is the President of the Eden Chamber of Commerce and serves on numerous boards in NC and Virginia and an active member with performing arts.
Board member Rhonda Price
Rhonda is co-owner of David Price Auto and Dave’s Towing on Monroe Street. She is President of the Leaksville Merchant Association and active in community volunteerism.
Board member Terrie Penn
Terrie is the owner of Roadside Gypsy on Monroe Street. She also coordinates a series of street concerts.
Board member Sarah Griffith
Sarah is a downtown photographer who is also employed at Eden’s largest church. She is active within the young professional business owners within the Eden community.
Board member Jim Burnette
Mr. Burnette is the appointed Eden City Council representative on the board. He is a retired Plant Manager with Duke Energy.
Board member Jean Harrington
Ms. Harrington is the owner of a historic home located in the heart of the Historic Leaksville Shopping District and an owner of multiple properties in this downtown area. Ms. Harrington’s commitment to the downtown extends to providing a building for the Eden Historic Museum.
Board member Debbie Ellis
Debbie is past Chair of the Eden Chamber of Commerce and also sits on the Reidsville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Debbie is a tireless worker at Eden Chamber of Commerce events, RiverFest and Oink & Ale.
Board member Faye Shelton
Faye is owner of Five Star Realty on Washington Street. She has been a realtor since 2005. She spent 27 years working for Rockingham County in the Appraisal and Tax department and retired as Director of Planning and Zoning.
Board member Tim Lancaster
Tim is a retired City of Eden employee. He is the coordinator of the Eden Cruise-in and Car Show that both take place in downtown Draper. Each year, proceeds from these events are donated to area charities. Tim regularly attends the Draper Merchant meetings.
Board member Linda Wyatt
Linda served on this board at its inception. She owns multiple businesses in the Draper section of Eden including an auction house, a real estate company and Granny’s Antiques.
Board member Cindy Adams
Cindy has been the Coordinator of Special Events and Tourism since the position was established in 2008 and spent more than 18 years with the Eden Chamber of Commerce as Administrative Assistant and President. She was responsible for RiverFest becoming a Top 20 event in the southeastern U.S. for September of 2011 by the Southeastern Tourism Society.
Executive Director Randy Hunt
Randy is Eden’s Main Street Manager, former executive director of the Eden Chamber of Commerce. He has an extensive background encompassing a wide range of careers. He is current president of Eden Rotary and the Fine Arts Festival of Rockingham County.
